Corozaleans are proud of their community and will welcome you with open arms. Here are some additional things you can do to make the most of your visit.

Santa Rita Mayan Temple

Santa Rita Mayan Temple is located near the center of town. It is only $5 USD to visit and depending on the time of year, there may be a historic ceremonial wedding performance you can attend!

Las Vegas Princess Casino

Princess Casino is located in the Freezone at the Belize/Mexico Border. There you can enjoy various slot machines and 14 live game tables including: Poker, Texas Hold'em, Blackjack, and Roulette. In addition, there is a nice pool and an outstanding restaurant. It will take about 10-minutes to get to the border and you will be required to pay $20 to exit Belize and enter the Free Zone.

Daytrip to Ambergis Caye

Start the day with a short 17-minute flight via Tropic Air from Corozal to San Pedro, on the island of Ambergris Caye. There you can enjoy a 1/2 or full day excursion that will include a private boat and Captain taking you to the world's 2nd largest Barrier Reef to scuba or snorkel at Hol Chan Marine Reserve. You will also be able to swim at Shark Ray Alley, feed the tarpon, fish, have your "catch of the day" prepared for your dining on the island of Caye Caulker, and much more. This trip is a MUST and is well worth the investment for the day!

Corozal Bay by Boat

If the bay is calm, we can take a short 10-minute boat ride across the bay to Cerros Mayan Ruins. There are also possible options to take the boat to Orchid Bay or Blackbeard's for lunch.
